Counsel Simon Kahiga, registered with the Law Society of Kenya as Karagu Simon Kahiga, is a partner at Kamuri Gachoki & Co-Advocates and leads the firm's Nairobi office at Development House on Moi Avenue. He was enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2024 and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya. He earned his Bachelor of Laws with Honours and completed the Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law.

Based in the city centre, Simon handles the matters that need an advocate on the ground in Nairobi: filing and following up cases in the Nairobi courts and tribunals, dealing with national registries and regulators, and meeting clients who live or work in the city. He acts for individuals, employees and employers, landlords and tenants, entrepreneurs and companies, and for clients from other parts of Kenya whose cases have to be handled in Nairobi.

Like his colleague in Kangema, Simon has no single specialty. He advises across all of the firm's practice areas, from conveyancing and employment disputes to commercial agreements, litigation and family matters. His working style is calm and methodical. He prepares thoroughly, reads the documents closely and explains complex points in clear, accessible language so that clients can make decisions with confidence.

Simon is a Certified Professional Mediator and Conciliator, and for busy Nairobi clients the speed of a mediated settlement is often as valuable as its lower cost. He will tell you honestly whether a negotiated outcome is realistic and, if it is not, prepare your case for hearing.

To speak to Simon, call 0725 953 485, send a WhatsApp message, or visit the Nairobi office Monday to Saturday.
