Counsel Kamuri Gachoki is a partner at Kamuri Gachoki & Co-Advocates and leads the firm's Kangema office, on the first floor of the Catholic Church Building on Kangema Road. He was enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 2024 and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi and the Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

Working from Kangema means Kamuri is close to the people and the land he advises on. Clients come to him for help with family land and inheritance, buying and selling plots, disputes with neighbours and relatives, employment problems, business contracts and court matters, and many of them value being able to speak to their advocate in person without travelling to Nairobi. He is comfortable discussing a matter in English or Kiswahili and explains each step in plain language, so that clients understand their position before they decide what to do.

Kamuri is a general practitioner in the best sense. He does not limit his practice to one field, and he advises and acts across all of the firm's practice areas, calling on his colleague in Nairobi when a matter needs to be filed, argued or followed up in the city.

He is also a Certified Professional Mediator and Conciliator. In a community where families, neighbours and business partners often have to go on living and working alongside each other after a dispute, he treats mediation as a first option: a well-run settlement can protect a relationship, save the cost of a long case and give both sides a result they can accept. Where talks fail, he prepares the matter for court carefully.

To speak to Kamuri, call 0722 148 016 or 0790 893 667, send a WhatsApp message, or visit the Kangema office Monday to Saturday.
